If you're looking for better lighting and less glow in The Sims 4, LumiaLoverSims and AronSims have just released NoGlo and NoBlu. These mods remove the "blue glow" that that appears on Sims and Objects even without lighting, and also bring a better lighting experience to the game overall. I saw the same person from Luumia's comments say over at SimsVIP that NoBlu and NoGlo caused their restaurants to stop working, but Scarlet wasn't able to replicate the problem. I honestly wouldn't take the evidence of one person so seriously, but like I said I don't use Version 2 and unfortunately for some reason, Luumia has removed the Version 1 downloads.

Luumia's NoGLO mod basically removes EA's silly lightning effect on Sims. When you use this one, the light effect on your sims (both indoors and outdoors) will be fixed (by that i mean, the light on them would makes sense).

It makes the default lighting so fake looking in comparison. This should (have) be (en) the default lighting. I agree, in fact this reminds me of a thread I read on mod the sims a few years ago. People were complaining about the default lighting and I suggested changing the light bulbs color.

Btw if you use reshade you need to take screenshots with the screenshot button in tab mode, instead of using the C button. And you need to disable origin in game. And btw if you enjoy taking screenshots for your story I can recommend Buckley's camera mod that will make it possible for the camera to go down floorlevel, for better screenshots.
